What an awesome place! This was the first and only time I've been there. If you're looking for an authentic 50's diner experience, this is it. I had the chile and banana split. The chile was off the chains (just wish it had been a little more of it), and the banana split was huge. Friendly staff. Hardly any wait time. I will go there again next time I'm in Florence. I do wish there more gluten-free because I have a slight wheat allergy, the chile and ice cream are worth going back for.

We stopped by Trowbridge's while on a road trip. It's become a favorite stop of ours that is worth the time. The atmosphere is authentic and reflects a aura from years ago, when people were polite, pleasant, and genuine. The food, especially the ice cream, is excellent and inexpensive.

The orange pineapple ice cream is awesome! It was a 90 minute drive from where I live. So well worth it! It reminds me of the ice cream shop of my youth. Staff is super. Had the honor of meeting the 4th generation owner. If you are within driving distance, I can recommend visiting in good conscience. Closed Sunday
