  Stopped by Van Leeuwen Ice Cream after dinner the other night, and wow—it was packed out the door. I honestly expected a long wait, but I was really impressed by how efficiently the staff handled the crowd. They kept the line moving, were smiling the entire time, and were more than happy to let people sample flavors without making anyone feel rushed. I think it was after midnight, and even that late they were still patient, friendly, and accommodating. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed what they were doing, which made the whole experience even better. And the ice cream? Absolutely banging!!! Every bite was worth the wait. Great customer service, a fun atmosphere, and amazing ice cream. I’ll definitely be back!

  The Cinnamon Caramel Apple ice cream is the best flavor I’ve had in a long time. Tiff provides exceptional customer service and truly deserves all her flowers. She’s an absolute joy! I’ll definitely be back!!!

  Just had one of the best ice cream moments I’ve had in a while at Van Leeuwen. I went with two scoops on a warm waffle cone: Marionberry Cheesecake and Blueberry Jelly Donut. Man, that combo was killer. The Marionberry Cheesecake was so creamy and bright, with big bursts of tart marionberries and those little cheesecake ripples that made it taste like an actual slice of dessert. Then the Blueberry Jelly Donut oh wow. It had these sweet pockets of blueberry jelly folded into this rich, almost fried-donut kind of base. It seriously reminded me of biting into a warm jelly donut, but in ice cream form. The waffle cone was spot-on too crispy, fresh, and it held everything together without turning into a soggy mess. I kept switching between the two flavors and every single bite was pure joy.

  I ordered the Praline Butter Cake through DoorDash, and it arrived well-packaged. The ice cream wasn’t melted, but it was just the right softness that I like when I eat my ice cream. However, I was expecting more of a crunch. The pralines were very finely chopped, which was a bit disappointing. Being from the South, I eat pralines often and they’re one of my favorite sweets. Bigger chunks in the ice cream would go so far and it definitely would have made this a five-star experience. For me it didn't immediately vault into my top five, but the quality of the ice cream is obvious. I’m definitely willing to give Van Leeuwen one more shot to win me over with a different flavor next time.
