  Hit this place up on a Sunday evening after being out in the heat all day. Minimal line, and once I asked, they let us sample a couple flavors before ordering. Got a single scoop of brown sugar cookie dough brownie. The brown sugar gives the base a toastier taste than regular cookie dough ice cream, and the cookie dough chunks and brownie pieces mixed in were both really good. Scoop was noticeably smaller than a single scoop you'd get at other ice cream shops for the same price. Also they won't give out kid cups unless you actually have a kid with you, kind of annoying.

  Great place! Guy was so helpful giving recommendations when asked and quickly gave me multiple samples. Two scoops was huge! So definitely worth the money. Also, other co-worker was a great singer and again, super nice and helpful. LOTS of vegan options (: I'm not vegan but am vegetarian, but always appreciate the options out there!

  I enjoy some of the vegan ice cream, but just now- I got one scoop of the vegan strawberry matcha with crushed Oreo to go. Looking at the container- I realized I was only given like 1/2 scoop of cream. Disappointed I paid over $10 for 3 tablespoons of ice cream and 1.5 crushed Oreos. Picture below- no I didn’t eat any, this is what I got. I’ve come here enough in the past to know this isn’t normal. Shrinkflation? C’ mon now.

  It took long but it was worth it the wait. The reason it was slow because there is was only one worker Jamal that we appreciate every little bit of care and time he put in with each customer giving samples and time. Thank you Jamal at Van Leeuwen YOU ARE THE TRUE MVP!
