Came here for the ice cream festival. Plenty of parking and the wagon ride over was fun. Weather was great as we missed the rain. They had alot of fun activities and areas for the kids. The food was typical festival/fair food. The ice cream was the best part. I wanted to do the ice cream eating contest but missed sign-ups. I was looking for onion rings or pizza bur didn't see any. Good time

Velvet Ice Cream's Ye Olde Mill in Utica, Ohio was such a sweet experience! From the moment I stepped inside, I loved the rustic stone walls, exposed wooden beams, and nostalgic soda fountain that celebrate over a century of Velvet Ice Cream history. Founded in 1914, Velvet Ice Cream has grown into an Ohio tradition, and Ye Olde Mill has been welcoming visitors since 1960. Good ice cream, kinda felt scammed after an hour and a half of driving. There are no tours, and the “museum” is just ok. Cool if you’re in the area, just not worth a semi long drive.

It was a nice little spot to relax and have a little treat!! I am sure it can be busy at other times, but when we were there it was quiet and we were able to walk about the whole property and take a break with ice cream and a nice little live band!
