In my opinion , certainly the best diner in the state of vermont , exceptional service , very friendly staff , clean restaurant , plenty of parking , and has reasonable handicap parking access as well. The food has always been amazing here.Every time I have come and ordered something.I have never been disappointed or left hungry.Extremely good value for the price point. I would highly recommend the sugar donuts with your coffee. If you're stopping for breakfast , you can't miss.

The Wayside definitely feels more like a classic diner than what I would personally picture when I hear "restaurant, bakery, and creamery." It has that old-school roadside diner atmosphere where you can sit down, order breakfast, and get a lot of food for a reasonable price. I ordered the Canadian Breakfast Combo, which came with two eggs, two sausages, and two pancakes for $11.95. For the amount of food you get, it's definitely a good value. That being said, the quality was just okay. My eggs were a little runnier and milkier than I personally prefer, which unfortunately didn't sit very well with me. One thing I would recommend is looking at some of the smaller menu options rather than immediately going for a combo. I've actually had better luck ordering from the kids' menu, which offers simpler portions like a single pancake with bacon or sausage, or French toast. Sometimes that's all you really need, and it's a great value. The coffee is your standard diner coffee. Nothing particularly memorable, but if you're someone who enjoys a classic hot cup of coffee with breakfast, it'll do the job. Overall, the Wayside isn't a bad spot, especially if you're looking for an affordable diner-style breakfast. For me personally, though, it wasn't memorable enough to make me want to return regularly.

Absolutely delicious and very well priced, with a cozy diner atmosphere. Clam strips were cooked perfectly, ice cream was phenomenal. Highly recommend :)

Great food, great atmosphere, and amazing service! Our waitress is believe her name was Ashley was absolutely wonderful. She was patient, pleasant, attentive, and so sweet with our curious children. She interacted with them, answered all their questions, and made our whole family feel welcome. Her kindness and excellent service really made our experience special. We’ll definitely be back!
