Great stop!!! My husband and I loved the upstairs interactive exhibit and theatre. The short video on how ice cream was made was top notch viewing. The space is great and committed fully to an ice cream theme with a spacious ice cream parlor decorated as such. The employees were friendly and kind and calm despite it being very busy. We got the bunny tracks, a classic, and loved the sweet little blue bunny spoon! This is a fun and whimsical stop on a road trip passing through Iowa!

In the summer of 2007, my family visited the Blue Bunny Visitor Center along Highway 75 in Le Mars, Iowa. It was a welcome break on a hot day, offering cool ice cream and a chance to learn about one of America's best-known ice cream brands. The visitor center originally opened in 2000 along Highway 75 before relocating to downtown Le Mars in 2011. Blue Bunny's history dates back to 1913, when Fred H. Wells began a dairy business in Le Mars. The Blue Bunny name was created in 1935 through a "Name That Ice Cream" contest, inspired by blue bunny decorations that a local artist's son admired in a store window. Over the years, the company grew into a nationally recognized ice cream producer, helping earn Le Mars the nickname "Ice Cream Capital of the World."

Wonderful place to stop. Plenty to see and do. Short film about icecream. To many flavors to choose from. Service was excellent. Would definitely stop again if passing thru.

Omgosh so much fun!!! I had no idea the ice cream capital of the world was in Iowa!!! definitely lived up to the name, lots of cute swag, and the service was spectacular! Nice young people working during the day on a Friday.
